Axiom is the world's first entirely student-run Drum Corp International SoundSport® ensemble. We are scheduled to perform at the Alamodome in San Antonio on July 18, 2026.

Do you want to get a mini-DCI experience without the summer-long commitment?

We are looking for high school marchers who have experience as drum majors or playing brass, percussion, or synth instruments.

Upcoming events

We will be rehearsing the music on the 12th, and 19th of April at a church in north Austin (location pending) from 1pm to 4pm.

On the 19th we will be hosting a showcase for your parents and will have an information meeting and document signing starting at 3pm.

Head Director

Henry Hoffacker

Award-winning Composer, Multi-Instrumentalist and Head Director for Axiom brass. I love writing music and am excited about creating this opportunity for my fellow marching enthusiasts.

Assistant Director

Ziv Sidel

My name is Ziv Sidel and I play alto saxophone as well as the piano. I fell in love with music and ever since I have made it my goal to share music with everyone.

Will Veeser

My name is Will Veeser, and I’m a junior at Anderson HS. I’m primarily a bassoonist, but I also play baritone sax. After this last season, I’ve realized how much I enjoy marching band and I’m excited to get to be back in the action this summer!
